Swadee Ka! (Hello)
My name is Elizabeth, though many people call me Liz.
I am currently a missionary serving in Northern Thailand with Lighthouse in Action to help women and children in need. Lighthouse in Action has 3 main areas of ministry: Zion Cafe, Love Acts and XLife.
Thailand has the highest percentage of Human Trafficking (slavery) in the World and I’m passionate about changing this! I am 28 years old.
I love learning languages, playing games and eating Asian food. I enjoy going to the market on the weekends here and trying out new Thai foods and bartering for everything.
I went on the World Race in 2010 (N Squad). I got sick a little over half way through and was sent home to recover. After 8 long months, I finally found my way back out to Thailand.
I then served with SHE, in Phuket, Thailand for 2 years as the Training Manager. I helped women who were interested in coming out of a life of slavery. I taught English, Hotel and Food Services Training, How to write a resume, Job interview skills and more.
I truly love my ‘job’. I get to invest into others and give them practical training to allow them to have a better lifestyle for them and their family.
